June 2026 SOA Board of Directors Meeting Recap

The SOA Board of Directors met June 27-28 in Washington, D.C. to discuss strategic priorities and opportunities that will help shape the future of the profession and support our global membership. Highlights included discussions on global strategy, artificial intelligence and the evolution of our ASA pathway.[VB1.1] The Board also approved proposed Bylaws changes based on member feedback, which will be brought to membership for a vote during the 2026 Board elections.

March 2026 SOA Board of Directors Meeting Recap

The Society of Actuaries (SOA) Board of Directors met for a combination of virtual and in-person meetings in Ponte Vedra, Florida, the week of March 16-20 to discuss strategic priorities and key organizational initiatives. Discussions included a review of the competitive landscape, education updates and global partnership opportunities. The Board approved the SOA’s research strategy principles and authorized a member vote for proposed governance Bylaws changes.
