Candidates for 2026 Community Elections
This year, Community members will elect Community Advisory Team (CAT) members for each of SOA’s seven Communities. CAT members provide strategic guidance, support career growth, mentor members, share knowledge and resources, and create valuable networking opportunities.
Each CAT includes 9-12 elected members who help advance these initiatives. During the transition from Sections to Communities, some CATs may temporarily be larger in size. After the 2027-28 election, all CATs will include 9-12 elected members.

Bios are limited to professional background, SOA volunteer experience, other relevant volunteer experience, and a statement describing the candidate’s interest in leading the Community. Candidates are listed below and on the official ballot in the order SOA received their information. Candidates who did not provide a bio are listed alphabetically by last name.
